Planning for Cambodia Mission Trip June 2010

Date: 4 - 6 June 2010
11 Trippers: Colin, Alex & Channy, Paul & Deanna, Simon & Jing Siew, David & Elaine, Jenny and Charmaine

Programmes Plan:
USD - Paul
Guitar & Songs - Simon

Day1: (4 June - Friday)
12pm - 1pm: Lunch Time
Bring own lunch for trippers, Pastor and other team members (Paul in charge of Lunch)

1pm - 3pm: Evangelism at the Church with new believers / pre-belivers
Team Lead: Alex
Team Members: Colin, Charmaine, Simon, Paul & Jenny
Audience: 50 - 70 pre-believers & new believers
Preparation: Snacks & prizes
Programs:
(1) Ice Breaker - Charmaine
(2) Melody of Songs - Simon
(3) Testimony - Simon
(4) Message - Alex

2pm - 4pm: Children Bible Based Program at Joyce Meyer School
Team Lead: Jing Siew
Team Members: Deanna, David & Elaine
Audience: 20 - 30 Children Age 5 -11
Preparation: Snacks & Gifts
Programs:

(1) Ice-breaker (David & Elaine)

(2) Story of Noah - main points God wants our obedience n God's promise rainbow (Deanna)

(3) Question & Answer - with prizes (JS)

(4) Coloring mini book (JS, all participate)

(5) Art & Craft - Rainbow streamers (JS, all participate)

Evening:
Buy snacks and prizes for tomorrow's games.
Dinner with Ps Jesse back in Phnom Penh


Day2: (5 June - Saturday)
Depart from Phnom Penh at 8am for the village
Bring own lunch (Paul in charge of Lunch)

Group A:
9am - 11am: Leadership Training with 6 -7 people
Team Lead: Colin & David
Team Members: Elaine, Simon
Audience: A group of 15 usually meet on the saturday night but the change for us. They would like to invite Husband & Wife of the team to encourage their leaders to be good leaders in their family.
Programs:
(1) Time of Sharing
- Materials to focus on family, raising children, marriage, leadership in the family etc.


Group B:
9am - 11am: Door to Door visit
Audience: Visit about 8 - 10 homes
Preparation: Gifts for the villagers - soap bars & Khmer bible to each household
Group 1: Paul, Deanna & Jenny
Group 2: Alex & Channy, Jing Siew, Charmaine
Programs:
To break into 2 groups going house to house, get to know villagers and praying for their needs. Member to have testimony. Invite them to church on Sunday 8am - 10am.


All members:
1.30pm - 3pm: Children program
Team Lead: Channy & Jenny (Fun & games) & Alex (Bible story)
Team Members: All
Audience: 50-70-100 children
Preparation: snacks and prizes
Programs:

(1) Ice Breakers (animal scramble) - Channy & Jenny
(2) Fun & Games - Channy & Jenny
- Balloon over & under, Two man balloon relay, Eat and Run, Team Scissors Paper Stone
(3) Bible story with Q&A – (Alex)

(4) Question & Answer - with prizes (Channy)


3.30pm - 5pm: Youth Party
Audience: 30 - 50 youths (not sure of the age). Youth outreach program and invite pre-believers.
Team Lead: Deanna
Team Members: All
Preparation: Snack & drinks - Ps will get fruits, we buy chips. Souvenirs - Khmer/Eng dictionary.
Programs:

(1) Worship 3 songs - Simon
(2) Sharing - How God is present in our lives - Charmaine
(3) Game - Get into the news - Deanna
(4) Message - Deanna


Day3: (6 June - Sunday)
Depart 7am sharp for Church Service
Hotel Checkout in morning

8am - 10am - Worship and Service

Men will meet the men to get to know them, a short sharing on an area relevant to men

Members: Jenny, Deanna, Jing Siew & Charmaine
Women will meet the women to get to know them, a short sharing on an area relevant to women

Lunch:
Return to Phnom Penh for lunch and view land parcels with Ps Jesse
