Before Year 2010 closes...

Message from the Cell Leader before Year 2010 ends:

Smilebox and Thanksgiving!
I am requesting even appealing if each family would like to pen your own thanksgiving for 2010 in a "smilebox" or some other softcopy media. This coming Friday (31 Dec), I will arrange for a projector in my house and we can have a short time of sharing of testimonies.

Psalms 9:1. I will give thanks to you, Lord with all my heart: I will tell of your wonderful deeds.
1 Thres 16-19 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Coffeelovers Blog
If you have not gone to the coffeelovers blog, no worries. I am asking jenny to help post our "smileboxes" into the blog. Now the blog is full of pictures. Its quite complete with an archival of all the cell activities we had in 2009 -2010. It is amazing! It is also wonderful also to see how our kids grown in just one year and reflect on what the cell has done.

I am asking Jenny to help us put our "thanksgiving note" on the coffeelovers blog. I imagine in 2011, 2012, we will be able to look back and see the goodness of God on our lives. (will screen on fri nite after dinner) You can save in thumbdrive screen on friday or just email to jenny-pls liase w her directly.

Joshua 4:1-3
When the whole nation had finisihed crossing the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua, choose twelve men from among the people, ... and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan........ put it at the place where you stay tonight..... (V6) to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you:" What do these stones mean?" Tell them that was where the flow of Jordan was cut off before the ark of the convenant."

Program for 31 Dec 2010
7pm: Dinner starts at 7pm at Chew's residence. We will do a SIMPLE Chinese dinner.

Simple Chinese Dinner Menu:
(1) Veggie & Mushroom dish - Chews
(2) Chicken Wings & Beef dish - Chuas
(3) Potatoes with mince meat - Bays
(4) Haato ice-creams & small cookies for coffee - Lees
(5) Pig Trotters vinegar - Jenny

9pm: Church service or my place
Church watch night starts at 9pm. I understand some will like to go church for watch-night service . So maybe ard 830pm they may have to leave for church. Some may not be going for church service, they are welcome to stay at my place for supper.

After dinner: Time of sharing & Thanksgiving clips, Screen blog and Worship.
