Part I: John 15: 1- 9
John 15:1 " I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener."
John 15:2 " He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful."
John 15:3 "You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you."
John 15:4 "Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me."
John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
John 15:6 "If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned."
John 15:7 "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you."
John 15:8 "This is my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing ourselves to be my disciples."
John 15:9 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love."

Jesus The True Vine:
Gal 4:4 "But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.
Gal 4:5 "To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Gal 4:6 "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father."

Fruits: True Followers of Christ
Story of missionary to Laos: Before national borders were agreed, the kings of Laos and Vietnam agreed, those who ate short grain rice, built house on stilts, decorated in Indian styles serpents were considered Laotians, those who are long grain rice, built houses on the ground and had Chinese style dragons were considered Vietnamese. Likewise, the citizen of God's Kingdom displays God's value.
1 John 3:24 "If anyone obeys his words, God's love is truely made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him."
1 John 2:5 "Jesus disciples display a different kind of fruits, of those connected to the vine.
Part II: Various Fruits
Call to Christians to Winning Souls and doing Good Works
T it 3:14 "And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
Psa 1:3 "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth this fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
a. People Fruit - People whom we have introduced to Christ or influenced in a positive way
Mar 4:29 "As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come."
Joh 4:35 "Do you not say, Four months more and then the harvest? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest."
b. Giving Fruit - Time energy and money given to the cause of Christ are fruits to spread the gospel and minister to the people
Rom 15:26 "For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor amond the saints in Jerusalem.
Rom 15:27 "They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jew's spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.
Rom 15: 28 "So after I have completed this task and have made sure that they have received this fruit, I will go to Spain and visit you on the way.
c. Gospel Fruit - Believers who spread the gospel it will bear fruit
Col 1:5 "the faith and love that spring from teh hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the world of truth, the gospel
Col 1:6 that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth.
d. Fruit of Praise
Heb 13:15 "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess his name."
e. Fruit of Spirit
Gal 5:22 "The fruit of Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control."
Part III: To Glorify the Father
Fruits represent good works, good thoughts, attitudes or actions of ours that will glorify God. The fruit from our life is how God receives His due honour on earth ie.
John 15:8 "By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit."
John 15:16 "I chose and appoint you that you should go bear fruits, and that fruit shall remain."
Fruits are our permanent deposits in heaven, it's the earthy reason why we were saved. Paul told Christians they were "created in Jesus Christ to do good works" Ephes 2: 10
Our dreams are like the diciples are always too small. We were created to fulfil God's dream, to bring Him glory through an abundant life.
